The strawberry prunt from the hobbyglass studios, cast in the foundry. Like the other prunts, this stamp is cast bronze. It's about 6.5 inches long. The business end is 1 in diameter, and the berry is about 3/4 inches across. It works very nicely. This one is more difficult than the others. Because all of the berry seeds are undercuts, once you press down on the bit with the stamp, you need to quickly 'rock' the stamp off from side to side, otherwise it will get stuck, kind of like a diamond mold. A traditional application on Venetian and German work, the prunt is decorative and functional.
